Fitness Specialist
Under the supervision of the Supervisor, Clinical Fitness, is responsible for the following areas:
- Delivery of all health and fitness programs at Wellness Central Fitness.
- Proficiency in fitness evaluations, exercise prescriptions and health risk appraisal.
- Proficiency on all exercise equipment at Wellness Central Fitness.
- Assists in the Quality Assurance activity in the Wellness Central Fitness.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:  The qualifications/position requirements identified below list the skill level, ability, and knowledge required to successfully perform the essential duties of the position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to allow individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Currently pursuing BS Degree in Exercise Science or similar. Must have completed basic courses in Health Fitness.
• BLS Certification
• Able to complete Basic Fitness Evaluation with average or better score at six month intervals.
• Ability to maintain positive interpersonal relationships with other employees and the general public.
• Ability to maintain the confidentiality of records, documents or discussions related to departmental and hospital functions.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, remain on feet for extended periods of time, walk considerable distances, climb stairs, reach, push, pull, kneel, crawl, twist, bend, squat, lift objects above head and sit for extended periods.
• Must be flexible regarding working hours.
• Attendance is an essential element of this position.

Exercise Physiologist
Under the supervision of the Supervisor, Clinical Fitness, is responsible for the following areas:
- Delivery of all health and fitness programs at Wellness Central Fitness.
 - Proficiency in fitness evaluations, exercise prescriptions and health risk appraisal.
 - Proficiency on all exercise equipment at Wellness Central Fitness.
 - Educational resource for students and staff
 - Assists with clinical programs and high risk patients.
 - Assists in the Quality Assurance activity in the Wellness Central Fitness.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: The qualifications/position requirements identified below list the skill level, ability, and knowledge required to successfully perform the essential duties of the position. • Education. B.A. or B.S Degree. Health Fitness/ Exercise Physiology preferred.

Fitness Information Assistant
Efficiently runs the reception area of the fitness department and courteously attends to the immediate questions and needs of the fitness clients. Manages member accounts and records. Reports to the Supervisor, Clinical Fitness.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: 
The qualifications/position requirements identified below list the skill level, ability, and knowledge required to successfully performing the essential duties of the position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to allow individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Must be able to perform all tasks from ground level - up and including to above head level.
• May require working on feet for extended periods of time.
• Must have the ability to maintain positive interpersonal relationships with patients, doctors, other employees and the general public.
• Must have computer skills.
• Ability to maintain the confidentiality of records, documents or discussions related to hospital and departmental functions.
• Attendance is an essential element of this position.

Group Exercise Coordinator
Under the supervision of the Supervisor, Clinical Fitness, is responsible for the following areas:
-Delivery of all health and fitness programs at the Wellness Central Fitness.
-Monitors the internal staff development activities at Wellness Central Fitness.
-Educational Resource for the Wellness Central Fitness staff.
-Proficiency in Fitness Evaluations, Health Risk Appraisals, and exercise prescription.
-Assists in monitoring the Quality Assurance activity at Wellness Central Fitness.
-Coordinates group exercise program at Wellness Central Fitness and Morey Courts.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:  The qualifications/position requirements identified below list the skill level, ability, and knowledge required to successfully perform the essential duties of the position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to allow individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
• Education: B.A. or B.S. Degree. Health Education/Exercise Physiology preferred.
• BLS Certification.
• Previous program development experience preferred in the following areas: 
    a. Corporate Health
    b. Community “Fitness” program 
    c. Obesity/Elderly programming
    d. Cardiac Rehabilitation
• Able to complete Basic Fitness Evaluation with average or better score at six month intervals.
• American College of Sports Medicine Exercise Specialist , HFI or Personal Trainer certification or National Strength and Conditioning Association CSCS or C-PT within one year of employment.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, remain on feet for extended periods of time, walk considerable distances, climb stairs, reach, push, pull, kneel, crawl, twist, bend, squat, lift objects above head and sit for extended periods.
• Must have the ability to maintain positive interpersonal relationships with clients, physicians, other employees and the general public.
• Ability to maintain the confidentiality of records, documents or discussions related to hospital and departmental functions.
• Must be flexible regarding working hours
• Must have computer skills

Lead Exercise Physiologist
Under the supervision of the Supervisor, Clinical Fitness, is responsible for the following areas:
-Delivery of all health and fitness programs at Wellness Central Fitness.
-Monitors the internal staff development activities at Wellness Central Fitness.
-Educational Resource for the Wellness Central Fitness and Morey Courts Fitness staff.
-Proficiency in Fitness Evaluations, Health Risk Appraisals and exercise prescription.
-Assists in monitoring the Quality Assurance activities at Wellness Central Fitness.
-Assists with clinical programs and high risk patients.
-Assists in overseeing fitness staff at Morey Courts.
-Oversees student learning experiences at Wellness Central Fitness.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:  The qualifications/position requirements identified below list the skill level, ability, and knowledge required to successfully perform the essential duties of the position. Supervisor, Clinical Fitness
Supervises and coordinates the activities of the clinical fitness programs at Wellness Central and the Morey Courts Fitness Program. Establishes policies, procedures, standards, and objectives for the treatment of clients; evaluates the performance of  staff members and maintains the departmental Quality Assurance Program.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:  The qualifications/position requirements identified below list the skill level, ability, and knowledge required to successfully performing the essential duties of the position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to allow individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
• High School graduate or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree required.
• ACSM Specialist Certification required.
• BLS required.
• Prefer one year experience in clinical exercise programming in a hospital or healthcare system.
•Must work as a team player to develop services in Wellness Central Building.
•Must be able to work harmoniously with all levels of the staff under pressure.
• Must be flexible regarding working hours.
• Must be able to assist in the preparation of budgets and maintain fiscal responsibility on a daily basis.
• Must be a self starter and work with little or no supervision for periods of time.
• Must be eligible to participate in one state level professional association.
• Must be a creative problem solver.
• Must have computer skills.
• Must have good writing skills.
• Must have good organizational skills.
• Must have the ability to communicate with patients, physicians, administrators, employees and the general public in a positive manner in person or on the telephone.
• Must be able to prepare schedules effectively, to include communication of changes thereto. Must be able to prepare and present training programs to all levels of personnel and community members. Must be able to research, develop, coordinate, and present written and verbal reports to all levels of Hospital employees to include Board presentations.
